Rebecca Belt is a journalist at a regional daily newspaper in NSW, Australia. She has worked in the Australian media for ten years during and after completing her undergraduate studies in Western Sydney then a Master of Professional Communication also in Western Sydney. Rebecca went on to complete a Master of Internet Studies through Curtin University of Technology in Western Australia and is currently researching for a professional doctorate through Charles Sturt University in NSW, studying the relationship between the military and the media.

Rebecca's journalistic interests are music specialising in country music, entertainment, military- army, air force and navy, and military history. She also enjoys writing stories that matter to her readers and her community, whether that be the local geographic community or a community of fellow writers spread across the world. Rebecca was rewarded for her commitment to military reporting by the 12th/16th Hunter River Lancers with a certificate of appreciation for assiting with their public relations and recruiting activities through her articles.

This Australian journalist has written for the Northern Daily Leader, Western Week-Ender, Country Update magazine and Country Music Capital News and has also been published in the Sun Herald in Sydney. She has interviewed every major country music artist in Australia such as Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, The McClymonts, Felicity Urquhart, Amber Lawrence and Troy Cassar-Daley. Rebecca has also interviewed US and Canadian country artists including Corb Lund, Joe Nichols, Sugarland, Deana Carter, Glen Campbell and Jack Ingram and many of the major mainstream artists and bands such as Powderfinger.
